Branchlands Property Owners Association
Includes: Branchlands, Boltons, Villas Condos
Description
During the early 1800’s, the historic Manor House of the
Branchlands estate overlooked several rolling acres to the south
abutting what is now Greenbrier Drive. Once considered the
“outskirts” of Charlottesville, the Manor House sold and
eventually became the suburban chapel of Charlottesville’s Holy
Comforter Catholic Church and housed the Holy Comforter School,
with a kindergarten and eight grades, run by the Adrian
Dominican Sisters. Eventually, the Manor House and adjacent land
was sold and developed and now contains homes and condos of the
Branchlands Retirement Village. The Branchlands Property Owners
Association includes owners of the townhomes and owners of the
Boltons and Villas Condominiums. |
